Hilu-mur's pale sister: thin white spiced sorghum sheets dissolved into a milky, gently sour cooler for the fast's end.

Made in the same great pre-Ramadan bakes as hilu-mur, abre is the gentler pour — children's first fast is broken with it.
Ingredients
- Dried white abre sheets
- Cold water
- Sugar
How it is made
- Crumble the sheets into cold water; soak until dissolved.
- Strain fine; sweeten.
- Chill deeply and pour at the adhan.
